OVERVIEW

Welcome to Blank Slate Studios. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Blank Slate Studios, operated by Tanisha Vithal, Sydney, NSW, Australia. Blank Slate Studios is a wearable art platform — connecting emerging artists to new audiences through limited-edition tees, QR-linked artist stories, and a documented authenticity system.

By visiting, interacting with or purchasing from our store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use or access our store.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND USE

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or territory of residence. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all account activity.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS

All BSS tees are limited edition wearable artworks produced on demand. We have made every effort to represent our products accurately, however colours may differ slightly from how they appear on screen due to device settings and the nature of DTG printing. Minor print colour variation does not constitute a fault.

All product descriptions are subject to change. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue any product at any time.

SECTION 3 – LIMITED EDITION RELEASES

Each BSS Issue runs for a fixed window of approximately 3 months. Once an Issue closes, it is permanently archived. There are no restocks, reissues, or late orders accepted after an Issue window closes.

SECTION 4 – ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is not accepted until Blank Slate Studios confirms acceptance and processes your payment. Please review your order carefully before submitting — we may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests once an order is accepted.

SECTION 5 – CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

Each purchase is eligible for a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). COAs must be requested within 30 days of purchase at blankslatestudios.co/coa. Requests made after this window cannot be guaranteed.

SECTION 6 – PRICES AND BILLING

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed, as set out in your order confirmation email. Shipping is additional and calculated at checkout.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and billing information for all purchases.

SECTION 7 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or events outside our control. Once we transfer products to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details.

SECTION 8 – RETURNS AND REFUNDS

All sales are final except in the case of manufacturing defect or fulfilment error. Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for full details.

SECTION 9 – ARTIST ROYALTIES

A fixed royalty is included in the price of every BSS tee and paid to the featured artist at the close of their Issue window. This is a standing commitment BSS makes to every artist on the platform.

SECTION 10 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Services, including trademarks, text, images, artwork, and design, is owned by Blank Slate Studios or its artists and licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any content without prior written consent. Artist-originated artwork remains the intellectual property of the respective artist.

SECTION 11 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our store may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

SECTION 12 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Blank Slate Studios is powered by Shopify. All sales and purchases are made directly with Blank Slate Studios. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and Blank Slate Studios, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products. You hereby release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims arising from your transactions with Blank Slate Studios.

SECTION 13 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED BY BLANK SLATE STUDIOS, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

SECTION 14 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, BLANK SLATE STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOSS OF DATA.

SECTION 15 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blank Slate Studios, Shopify, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any losses, damages, or claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your use of the Services.

SECTION 16 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any dispute arising under these Terms.

SECTION 17 – CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Changes are effective on the date posted. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. You can review the current Terms at any time on this page.
